13 Rules while Cold Calling

Only take the necessary minimum with you
Introduce yourself and hand over a business card
Get the prospects attention or curiosity
Announce how much time it will take
Explain what you do, and how you do it
Explain or show the prospect what you want/need/expect
Give the prospect the information or tool(s) he’ll need
Hand over a written summary of what you’ve just told him
Also use this as a back-up plan in case you cannot speak freely
Ask the prospect if there’s any questions?
Thank the prospect for his time and interest
Take the prospects business card or ask for it
Announce that you will contact or revisit him
Leave the prospect
